We are seeking an exceptional individual to fill the crucial role of Head Of IT Operations.
Responsibilities:
- Defines IT Operation strategy to support and accelerate business objectives and performance
- Monitors IT market trends and proposes their adoption within the IT agile organization, actively collaborates on their integration into the overall sw development lifecycle process
- Defines priorities and supervise the execution of strategic tasks within the overall IT strategy
- The responsibilities of the position include the following professional areas: end-user and application support, digital workplace, Infra as a Service, Platform as a Service, Hosting and connectivity services, Operation and IT Service management.
- Developing strong interpersonal skills to create sustainable and productive working relationships with colleagues within agile organization and key stakeholders (top management company).
- Exercising leadership with a captivating and engaging style that not only instills trust and support but also relentlessly drives towards the achievement of our organizational goals.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in leading large teams within a regulated environment, demonstrating an ability to navigate and thrive in challenging settings.
- Extensive knowledge and experience with online transaction processing in a large company. Experience in implementing and optimizing various IT operating models
- Knowledge of modern technologies, IT operation procedures and methodologies is fundamental (cloud service and different service delivery models IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, knowledge of ITIL best practices, but also new approaches to modern collaboration like devOPS are essential ).,
- Analytical skills, the ability to quickly understand new topics and contexts, the ability to put things in a broader context, thinking about long-term sustainable development of service quality, cost optimization.
- Ability to make decisions in the context of the whole organization
- Capability to estimate Operation risks when implementing a new parts of the IS, changing the organization or IT processes. Ensure that operational risks are under control over the long term
- An innovative and visionary mindset that the IT ops team will continually push forward and innovate according to business stakeholder requirements and IT market best practices
Qualifications:
- Holders of a university degree in IT or business administration will be given preference.
- Previous experience in IT management or comparable leadership roles is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with projects related to IT strategy and operational management.
- Excellent communication skills in both Czech and English, enabling effective collaboration and interaction across diverse teams and stakeholders.
